In our office we not only provide chiropractic care, but also compliment that care with physical therapy when necessary. We are committed to helping our patients recover from traumatic injury through the use of physical therapy modalities to address soft tissue damage and speed restoration of normal function. Some of the therapy modalities we offer are:

• Electrical Muscle Stimulation—a special form of electric current that is administrated at the site of a soft tissue injury, especially muscle, for the blocking of pain and the reduction of swelling.

• Ultrasound—a treatment using high-frequency sound waves administered in the region of soft tissue injury for the reduction of pain and swelling

• Intersegmental Traction—a way of inducing passive motion into the spine for the purpose of stretching spinal joints, increasing mobility

• Rehabilitative Exercises—to strengthen and retrain muscles following injury or disability

• Hydroculator Heat Therapy—for the reduction of pain and relaxation of muscle spasms

Decompression Table and Cold Laser

We have added a decompression table and cold laser to our practice. The decompression table is a painless, non-surgical approach to disc problems and carpel tunnel syndrome. The cold laser is used to reduce pain and promote soft tissue healing. It has been scientifically proven to accelerate healing and stimulate the release of the body's endorphins and enkephalins (or natural pain killers). In addition to being helpful in the treatment of back and neck pain, we have found it to aid in the treatment of such conditions as TMJ, cuts and abrasions, and joint and extremity discomfort.
